Turning Point
I think the turning point of this novel should be the death of her mother and grandfather. because first time that nobaby of her family get no pain of Germany, Johanna doen't hated Germany. but after her mother was died, she started became a bad mood. also after grandfather died, she really became a bad mood. So she started to hate Germany. so that reason, I think the turing point of this novle can be the death of her mother and grandfather.

Johanna:"Mom... wake up..."
Mom: "Johanna... sorry.. I think it can be last time...."
Johanna: "What you mean last time!?"
Mom: "Last time to see you.."
Johanna: "No.. Wake up Mom!!"
Mom: "..................."
In this dialogue the author show us the Johanna's mother died.
when I saw this dialogue, I almost cried. because, her mother was died that has no reason.
but the reason that she died is that borned from Europe and borned at bad period of time. so I also sorry for the people whose died cause of war. because if they didn't died, then maybe we couldn't living now.

When I read this novel, I was thought that Nazi group. I learned about World War 2. also I learned about Germany. so that I knew how bad things they did and how they affected to other countries. I saw that your mother died. I thought about your felling and I felt that you will be so sad and you will be anger to Germany. I couldn't feel how sad it is when someone that I knew died. so I think I lucky and I felt you are so poor. but don't give up. and I saw you becoming have more hopeless. so I feel happy about that.

I never thought that I had experiment about this happen, because I never had experience about war. so I couldn't feel that main character had. but I learned Korean history, and I heard so many wars that Korean got. and also that Korean people felt. so older people hates Japanese people and Chaineses people. Also I learned about Germany(Nazi) in history class. and I also learned how they did bad things to other countries. so I thought I'm living in great period time. so I'm lucky person.

I was confused by character Eddie. Eddie was character that have angela and Angela also love Eddie. but Angela kept thinking about Eddue but Eddie was in story. so I can't understand why author used Eddie for this story even Eddie wasn't in this story.
